Learn French… in the country

To book:

first, please check availability to avoid disappointment. The most effective method is to e-mail us (bernadette@frenchinthecountry.com) with your requirements (e.g. dates, type of courses, etc.) and we will reply immediately. Alternately you can telephone us on +44 (0)20 3490 2584.
second, as soon as you have booked your course, we will send you a questionnaire regarding your level of French, your preferences, etc. This will help Bernadette to prepare your classes and make your stay more enjoyable and productive.

Option 1
Total Immersion

1A) One week (6 nights) of French tuition in France (June - September)

Weekly prices are per person in the self-contained gîte (the cottage) and include:

5 hours formal, private lessons a day
Full board with wine
An evening meal at a restaurant
An excursion
Transfer from Nimes or Montpellier (Sunday arrival; Saturday departure)
Possibility of being picked up at another airport/train station, subject to an extra charge.

Prices:

£1390.00/week
35% discount if 2 people book the classes together.

1B) Made to measure stay (June - September)

You can have more days or less days of tuition. For a tailor-made stay, please send us an e-mail with your requirements and we'll email you back with the price.

Option 2
Holiday, with a pinch of French (June - September)

You rent the gîte for a few days (minimum 3 days) or a week and you book your lessons - so many a day - for the duration of your stay.

2.1 ) The gîte (the cottage)

Price: £40.00/night

2.2) The lessons

You can have as little as one hour per day or as many as 6/7 hours per day. The lessons are tailor-made to suit your needs. They can be a mixture of conversation, grammar, listening… or they can be pure conversation classes based on articles or newspapers, etc. depending on your level.
